Pereskiopsis

The genus Pereskiopsis includes fast-growing cacti native to Mexico and Central America. Unlike most cacti, they have thin, woody stems and small, short-lived leaves. Due to their vigorous growth and good graft compatibility, they are commonly used as rootstocks for cactus grafting. Pereskiopsis require more water than most cacti, a well-drained substrate, and warm conditions.
