TIP for you:

Snow Baby roses overwinter outdoors without any problems—thanks to their high frost resistance, they are popular for rock gardens and outdoor planting.

Sempervivum Snow Baby is a cultivar with an unknown breeder. It is a clone of Sempervivum arachnoideum characterised by tightly curled rosettes. In spring, the rosettes show a dark brown colouring, giving the plant a compact and distinctive appearance, while the colour expression changes during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, mainly mineral substrate that should not remain waterlogged for long periods. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and shallow containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette dies after flowering, but it produces new rosettes beforehand, ensuring the continuation of the planting. Thanks to its unusually curled rosettes, it is an attractive choice for collectors of cobweb houseleeks.
