TIP for you:

This German variety forms small, approximately 3 cm rosettes with leaves delicately covered in a fine web. It is very vigorous and quickly forms compact, dense cushions.

Sempervivum Nobbe is a cultivar bred by Martin Haberer from Germany in 2001 and belongs to the S. arachnoideum group. This houseleek forms small rosettes about 3 cm in size, showing a green-pink colouring with distinct white leaf tips. The appearance of the rosettes changes slightly during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, mainly mineral substrate that should not remain waterlogged for long periods. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and shallow containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette dies after flowering, but it produces new rosettes beforehand, ensuring the continuation of the planting. Thanks to its small size and subtle colouring, it is an excellent choice for detailed and collector houseleek plantings.
