Sempervivum Fontanae
The plant likes full sun, but can also tolerate partial shade. It is suitable for rock gardens or portable containers.
Water the plant in a pot after the substrate has dried out. When placed in a rock garden, water as needed.
The plant is fully frost-resistant.
Suitable for rockeries and dry walls with minimal watering.
Sempervivum Fontanae forms compact, light green rosettes with finely hairy leaves. The rosettes are regular in shape, small to medium in size, and often grow closely together. The overall appearance is natural and balanced, with colouring that may change slightly throughout the year depending on seasonal conditions and cultivation.
It is easy to grow and prefers a sunny position with a very well-drained, mainly mineral substrate. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with good drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette dies after flowering, but offsets are produced in time to maintain the clump. Thanks to its compact habit and clean appearance, it fits well into a wide range of plantings.
