TIP for you:

Bedivere captivates with its striking orange-red leaf tips, which create a stunning contrast – a truly beautiful plant for any collection!

Sempervivum Bedivere is a cultivar bred by Edward Skrocki from the United States of America in 1973 and belongs to the S. tectorum group. This houseleek forms rosettes up to about 10 cm in diameter, green in the centre and gradually turning red toward the edges with a subtle violet sheen. During summer, the red colouring becomes especially intense, giving the rosettes a strong visual impact.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, mainly mineral substrate that should not remain waterlogged for long periods. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette dies after flowering, but it produces new rosettes beforehand, ensuring the continuation of the planting. Thanks to its vivid summer colouring, it is a strong choice for adding contrast to a houseleek collection.
