Sedum album Murale
The plant likes direct sunlight. It is suitable for rock gardens or portable containers.

The plant is frost resistant to -40 °C. It can survive Czech winters.
Leaves of this species can change color depending on the season and light intensity.
Sedum album Murale is a frost-hardy cultivar of the widely distributed species Sedum album (white stonecrop). It belongs among undemanding rock garden succulents suitable for outdoor planting. The cultivar name “Murale” means “of walls” or “masonry”, referring to the typical habitats where these plants often grow, such as dry stone walls, rocky slopes, and other well-drained sites.
The plant is composed of small, fleshy leaves that change colour over the season. Young growth is bright green, while later the foliage may develop red-green tones, especially in stronger sunlight. Creeping stems spread easily across the surface, and Murale forms dense groundcover mats over time.
Flowering takes place from June to July. Small white to slightly pinkish flowers appear on short upright stems. The flowering shoots reach up to around 10 cm in height, while the plant itself remains low and spreading close to the ground.
Sedum album Murale is fast-growing and extremely easy to cultivate, making it suitable even for beginners. When grown in pots, occasional repotting or light feeding helps maintain a dense, compact appearance without thinning.
