Did you know?

This rock plant is naturally found in the highest mountains of the world - the Himalayas.

Rosularia rosulata, otherwise known as Sedum rosulatum, is a rock plant growing in the Himalayan mountains. It is a succulent perennial plant found in the temperate biome. The leaves turn green to red. In growth it resembles low clumps of tiny rosettes. They form compact pads.

These plants are frost-resistant, requiring only minimal attention and care. They are suitable for the rock garden or in portable containers, and if they have enough light and permeable soil, they can handle living even in very inhospitable conditions. Water only during prolonged droughts and usually do not water in winter. Over the winter, the plant rosettes can retract and naturally lose their volume. They will regain it at the beginning of the growing season.
