Plectranthus tenuiflorus is an unpretentious and fast growing succulent plant native to Kenya. The epithet 'tenuiflorus' - with delicate flowers, refers to the typical appearance of the plant's small delicate flowers.
The leaves are small, narrowly ovate and shortly densely hairy. They have an aromatic scent similar to thyme, which makes the plant a pleasant companion. It is a shrub-like plant that branches profusely and reaches a height of up to 30 cm.
The flowers are small and delicate, usually white or light purple in colour. They bloom in inflorescences that appear throughout the growing season.
Plectranthus tenuiflorus is an undemanding plant that tolerates a variety of growing conditions. It is a relatively rare plant that is not as commonly available as other Plectranthus species. If you decide to acquire it, it will make a great addition to your succulent collection.
