Place in a bright location, ideally on a windowsill. From spring to fall, the plants can be grown outdoors.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

Normal room temperature is suitable. In winter, a cooler environment of around 15 °C is ideal. The plants can only tolerate frost for a short period of time.

When cristate plants are repotted into a larger container, they grow stronger quickly and gradually develop into large, majestic collector houseplants.
