TIP for you:

This light green cultivar with smaller rosettes is most attractive in autumn, when it turns bright orange.

Jovibarba heuffelii Wilma is a cultivar bred by André Smits from Belgium in 1999. It forms smaller rosettes with light green colouring, which changes markedly in autumn to bright orange tones. The green shade remains mainly visible in the centre of the rosette, and the colouring varies during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, predominantly mineral substrate, where prolonged waterlogging should be avoided. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic, meaning the mother rosette dies after flowering, but it produces offsets beforehand to ensure continued growth. Thanks to its striking autumn colour change, it is a cultivar that stands out over the course of the season.
