TIP for you:

This hybrid by Gaston Wuyts from the 1990s creates an interesting pastel display of colors ranging from peach to cream.

Jovibarba heuffelii Walpole is a cultivar bred by Gaston Wuyts from Belgium in 1999. It forms rosettes up to 5 cm in size with spatulate, shortly pointed leaves and light-coloured margins. The basic colouring is pinkish red and, during spring and summer, it shifts into soft pastel shades ranging from peach to creamy tones, while remaining light and balanced in appearance.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, predominantly mineral substrate, where prolonged waterlogging should be avoided. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. Thanks to its variable pastel colouring, it fits well into softly toned plantings.
