The plant likes full sun and is well suited for rock gardens and portable containers.

Water the pot only after the substrate has completely dried out; water the rockery according to current conditions.

It is fully frost-resistant and can withstand temperatures down to –34.4 °C.

TIP for you:

Give the plant as much sun as possible and avoid overwatering. A gravelly or mineral substrate that dries quickly is ideal.

Jovibarba heuffelii Lanthe is a cultivar bred by André Smits from Belgium in 2001. It forms small rosettes with wedge-shaped, shortly pointed leaves with a velvety surface. The leaf bases are light green, while the tips are brownish red, and the margins are clearly outlined. The plant offsets freely and gradually forms compact groups of rosettes, with colouring that changes during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, predominantly mineral substrate, where prolonged waterlogging must be avoided. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. Thanks to its ability to offset, it is well suited for filling defined spaces over time.
