The plant likes full sun and is well suited for rock gardens and portable containers.

Water the pot only after the substrate has completely dried out; water the rockery according to current conditions.

It is fully frost-resistant and can withstand temperatures down to –34.4 °C.

TIP for you:

Jemina forms small lime-green rosettes with slightly fringed leaf edges and light brown variegated tips.

Jovibarba heuffelii Jemina is a cultivar bred by Gaston Wuyts from Belgium in 1992. It forms small rosettes with lime-green leaves, whose tips are light brown in colour. The leaf margins are slightly fringed, and the colouring changes during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, predominantly mineral substrate, where prolonged waterlogging must be avoided. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. The plant is monocarpic: after flowering, the mother rosette dies, but it produces offsets beforehand, ensuring continued growth. Thanks to its fresh colouring and compact rosettes, it is a good choice for growers looking to add a less common cultivar to their collection.
