It is fully frost-resistant and can withstand temperatures down to –34.4 °C.

The cultivar was bred by Cornelis Versteeg at the turn of the millennium.

Jovibarba heuffelii Furore is a cultivar bred by Cornelis Versteeg (NL) in 2000. The rosettes have a soft, jade-green pastel base colour overlaid with pink tones. The leaves are finished with a long pointed tip, and the rosettes reach a size of up to 6 cm.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, mainly mineral substrate, which must not remain waterlogged for long periods. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, where it can be grown outdoors all year round without special care. Thanks to its balanced growth and subtle colouring, it is a good choice for a selected plant collection.
