TIP for you

Blaze is a British cultivar with intense coloring and a slightly glossy leaf surface.

Jovibarba heuffelii Blaze is a cultivar bred by David T. Ford from the United Kingdom in 1988. It forms small rosettes with light green leaves accented by clear red colouring. The leaf margins are finely outlined and the leaf surface is glossy. This British cultivar is characterised by bright, well-defined colouring that changes during the year according to the seasons.

It is best grown in a sunny position in a well-draining, predominantly mineral substrate, where prolonged waterlogging should be avoided. It is suitable for rock gardens, dry stone walls and containers with drainage, and tolerates year-round outdoor cultivation. Thanks to its contrasting colours, it also works well as a standalone plant in plantings.
