Haworthia marumiana variegata
Ideally, place in partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can tolerate temperatures as low as -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
It will thrive best in partial shade. In full sun, it develops an undesirable orange color.
Haworthia marumiana variegata is a variegated form of a species native to South Africa. It is a small succulent valued for the light, creamy green coloration of its leaves and its compact growth habit.
The leaves are soft and fleshy, creamy green with irregular variegation, and arranged in low, dense rosettes. Individual rosettes usually reach a diameter of around 7.5 cm, and the plant gradually produces offsets with age.
Flowers appear from spring to summer. They are small, whitish-green, and borne on thin, relatively tall flower stalks that rise well above the leaf rosettes.
For cultivation, a bright position with filtered light or light partial shade is suitable. The substrate should be well-draining, and watering should be moderate, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. This Haworthia is suitable for growers looking for a delicately variegated succulent with compact growth.
