Ideally, place in partial shade.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can tolerate temperatures as low as -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

It is easily recognizable by its flowing white bumps and raised light stripes on the leaves, which create a distinctive pattern.

Haworthia limifolia var. striata, also known as Haworthiopsis limifolia ‘Spider White’, is a distinctive form of Haworthia limifolia. It is a succulent commonly grown as a houseplant and valued mainly for the striking texture and pattern of its leaves.

The plant forms a compact, usually solitary rosette of firm green leaves. The leaf surface is marked with flowing white tubercles or raised white stripes that create wavy transverse ridges visible on both sides of the leaves. The rosette can reach about 10 cm in height and up to around 15 cm in diameter.

The flowers are tubular, white, with greenish-brown veining. They appear in clusters on slender flower stalks that can grow up to 40 cm tall, usually in late summer and autumn.

For cultivation, a well-draining substrate and a bright position without strong direct midday sun are recommended. Water sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out well between waterings. This slow-growing succulent is suitable for growers looking for a haworthia with pronounced leaf structure.
