The plant likes sunshine. If possible, it is advisable to keep it outdoors during the summer.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can tolerate temperatures as low as -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

Did you know?

Graptoveria Arze was created by crossing the dark-leaved Echeveria Ebony and the more delicate Graptopetalum mendozae, which is reflected in the contrast between the shape and color of the leaves.

Graptoveria Arze is an intergeneric hybrid created by crossing Echeveria Ebony with Graptopetalum mendozae. The exact origin and the breeder of this hybrid are not known.

The plant forms compact rosettes of fleshy, pointed leaves at the ends of short stems. Leaf colour starts grey-green and can shift towards yellow-green tones with small red speckles, and under strong light the leaves may turn noticeably red. With its branching habit it can eventually produce multiple rosettes, usually after it has been grown for a longer time.

In spring, yellow bell-shaped flowers appear on branched flower stalks with fleshy bracts. Flowering is more typical in older plants.

Graptoveria Arze grows best in the brightest possible position and can handle full sun, as light intensity strongly affects leaf colouring. Fertilising is not recommended. It can be propagated from a single leaf, and with good conditions it gradually strengthens and may start forming more rosettes over time. If you want a compact succulent that can change colour through the seasons, Graptoveria Arze is a very good choice.
