Ideally, place in a sunny location. The plant can be kept outdoors during the summer.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -6.7 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

In intense sunlight, the edges of the leaves turn pink to red.

Graptoveria Amethorum is a rare hybrid created by Charles Uhl, resulting from a cross between Graptopetalum amethystinum and Echeveria purpusorum. It is a horticultural hybrid with no natural habitat and is mainly known among collectors.

This succulent forms compact rosettes of grey-green leaves with lighter margins and a fine line running along the center of each leaf. The leaves are thick, fleshy, and keeled. In strong sunlight, the leaf edges may turn pink to red. The rosettes usually reach about 7.5 cm in diameter.

The flowers are bell-shaped and red-orange in color. They appear on upright, branched flower stalks in late spring and early summer.

Graptoveria Amethorum prefers a sunny position and can be placed outdoors in warm weather, for example on a balcony or terrace. Fertilizing is not required. If you are looking for a compact hybrid with subtle leaf coloration, this succulent can be a nice addition to a collection.
