Gasteraloe Wonder
Place in partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
It thrives best in a bright spot without harsh midday sun. Keep watering moderate—it tolerates drought better than overwatering, especially in colder periods.
Gasteraloe Wonder is a hybrid succulent created by crossing the genera Aloe and Gasteria. It is grown as a houseplant and is characterized by a very firm, compact rosette and greyish leaf coloration.
The leaves are thick, rigid, and triangular, grey to grey-green, with fine speckling on the surface. The margins are slightly toothed. The plant forms a low, solid rosette without a distinct stem and maintains its shape without intervention.
Flowers may appear on a slender flower stalk emerging from the center of the rosette. They are tubular in shape, typical of Gasteraloe hybrids, and appear during the growing season.
A well-draining substrate and a bright position without prolonged direct sunlight are recommended. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry thoroughly between waterings. Thanks to its firm structure and undemanding growth, this succulent is suitable even for less experienced growers.
