A sunny location is ideal for the plant.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

Limit watering during winter to keep the rosettes firm and compact.

Echeveria Swirl is a cultivar of unknown origin, grown mainly for its regular rosette shape and the harmonious arrangement of its leaves. The name “Swirl” refers to a spiral or swirling pattern, which describes the overall form of the plant very well.

The plant produces blue-green, glossy leaves with a light farinose coating. Its colouring remains fairly stable throughout the year, and the rosette reaches up to about 15 cm in diameter. Growth is mostly low and ground-hugging, and the plant gradually forms side offsets, allowing it to develop into small clusters over time.

Flowers appear on an upright stalk and are yellow to reddish in colour, which is typical for the genus Echeveria. While flowering adds a seasonal feature, the main ornamental value of the plant lies in its compact leaf rosettes.

Echeveria Swirl is an undemanding succulent suitable for standard indoor growing conditions. It can be easily propagated from individual leaves and, thanks to its offsetting habit, is a good choice for expanding a collection. A crested form of this cultivar is also available in our shop.
