It prefers sunny locations. If possible, it can be grown outdoors during the summer.

Water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter. Generally, keep the soil on the drier side.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -1.1 °C for short periods. The plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

Grow in a very bright spot so that the rosette does not lose its shape.

Echeveria subcorymbosa Lau 30 Puebla is a miniature Echeveria species native to Mexico, known for its considerable variation between different forms. In appearance, it is sometimes compared to Cremneria Expatriata. The epithet subcorymbosa refers to the clustered, raceme-like inflorescence typical of this species.

The plant forms compact rosettes of grey to blue-grey leaves, which may develop pink tones when grown in full sun. The rosettes remain very small, around 3 cm in diameter, and the plant readily produces many side offsets, gradually forming dense clumps over time.

Flowers appear in summer on slender stalks that may reach up to about 11 cm in length. They are distinctly bicoloured, with the lower part red-orange and the upper part fading into yellow. These colourful blooms add an extra seasonal feature to this miniature Echeveria.

Echeveria subcorymbosa Lau 30 Puebla is an undemanding succulent well suited for a bright indoor windowsill or summer outdoor cultivation in a pot. A well-drained substrate is essential and should not remain overly wet for long periods. Thanks to its blue foliage, pink sun tones, and abundant offsetting, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking to add a small but vigorous Echeveria to their collection.
