The plant likes a sunny location. The plant can be grown outdoors in summer.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

Echeveria Ramillete is known for its ability to form cristate growths. These deformations are not a defect, but a natural genetic trait.

Echeveria Ramillete is a hybrid bred by Dick Wright in 1970. It was created by crossing Echeveria ‘Tippy’ with Echeveria setosa var. ciliata and is a sibling seedling of Echeveria ‘Bouquet’. This succulent is known for its tendency to produce crested forms, which may also appear on normally growing plants.

The plant forms compact rosettes of fleshy leaves with a frosty green coloration and distinct red tips. The rosettes can reach a diameter of up to about 7.5 cm and spread freely over time, gradually forming a dense clump as the plant ages.

The flowers are bell-shaped and yellow-orange in color, appearing on several short flowering stems. Blooming takes place in winter and early spring, with the inflorescences rising above the leaf rosettes.

For cultivation, a well-draining substrate and a bright position are suitable. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry between waterings. Fertilizing is not necessary. Thanks to its easy care and clumping growth, Echeveria Ramillete is a good choice as a long-term succulent for collections.
