Echeveria Nicksana variegata
Ideally place in partial shade, but it can also tolerate a sunny location.
Water a few days after the soil has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can tolerate temperatures as low as -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
Each Echeveria Nicksana variegata plant has its own unique variegation.
Echeveria Nicksana variegata is a variegated Echeveria cultivar grown mainly for its light-colored foliage and considered a more unusual, collector-worthy form within the genus.
The leaves are large, thick, and fleshy, with a small pointed tip. They show green and yellow coloration with slightly reddish margins. The leaves form a regular rosette that can reach approximately 20 cm in height and about 10 cm in width. Over time, the plant develops a bare stem topped by the leaf rosette.
The flowers are typical of Echeveria and appear on a flowering stalk above the rosette. They are not the main reason this plant is grown, as it is valued primarily for its foliage.
Echeveria Nicksana variegata requires a well-draining substrate and a bright position. Watering should be moderate and only after the substrate has dried, as it must not remain waterlogged for long periods. The plant can be propagated from leaves and works well as an eye-catching solitary specimen.
