The plant should ideally be placed in a sunny location, but it can also tolerate partial shade.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures down to -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

Did you know?

The Sunny variety has leaves with distinctive yellow variegation, which shows up best in bright light and makes each plant unique.

Echeveria Minibele Sunny is a colourful form of the hybrid Echeveria Minibele, whose exact origin is not fully known and is often attributed to the breeder Ed Hummel. The cultivar Sunny differs from other forms by a higher proportion of yellow tones in its leaves, giving the plant a lighter and warmer overall appearance.

When exposed to strong sunlight or lower temperatures, the leaves develop vivid yellow to yellow-green tones, often complemented by terracotta or red margins and tips. Under more moderate light conditions, the colour is predominantly light green to silvery with a yellowish hue. Creamy to whitish variegation may also appear. The rosettes are compact, reaching a diameter of up to about 9 cm, and the plant grows in a shrubby form with an overall height of around 20 cm.

In summer, bell-shaped flowers in coral shades may appear on several arching flower stalks, which can grow up to about 25 cm in length.

Echeveria Minibele Sunny is a relatively rare and collector-valued plant. It prefers a bright position with plenty of sunlight to maintain its strong yellow coloration, along with a well-drained substrate and careful watering. Fertilising is not recommended. Thanks to its light leaf tones and compact growth, it is an excellent choice for growers looking to add a colourful yet manageable echeveria to their collection.
