Echeveria hyalina is a highly variable species that appears in cultivation in several distinct forms. Under this name, plants with slightly different leaf shapes and coloration are often grown.
The leaves are thick and fleshy, forming compact rosettes of plump, smooth leaves. The basic coloration is blue-green, which gradually shifts into soft pastel shades of lavender to pink. The rosettes usually reach a diameter of around 8 cm and have a well-balanced, symmetrical appearance.
In spring and early summer, the plant may produce inflorescences on arching flower stalks. The flowers are bell-shaped and pendulous, pinkish-orange on the outside and yellow to orange on the inside.
Echeveria hyalina is valued mainly for its delicate pastel colors and compact growth habit. It prefers a sunny position and a well-drained substrate with moderate watering. Thanks to its subtle coloration, it is an attractive choice for growers looking for an elegant and visually striking succulent.
