The plant likes a sunny location. The plant can be grown outdoors in summer.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

With sufficient light, the plant has firmer leaves and overall more compact and healthier growth.

Echeveria Costarii is a succulent forming a compact rosette that maintains a regular and symmetrical shape. The plant appears firm and well balanced even at a young stage.

The leaves are strongly fleshy, elongated, and finished with a gentle point. Their surface is smooth and distinctly glossy. The base color is emerald green, while the leaf margins are edged with a thin red-violet line, most noticeable at the tips.

The flowers are delicate and visually pleasing, typical of succulents, and appear on a separate flowering stem emerging from the rosette. Although not the main reason for cultivation, they provide an attractive addition during the flowering period.

For cultivation, a well-draining substrate and a bright position are suitable. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry between waterings to avoid prolonged moisture. Thanks to its firm shape and clear coloration, Echeveria Costarii works well as a standalone succulent in a smaller pot.
