Echeveria Blue Mist is a cultivar mainly known for its soft pastel colouring. The exact origin of this hybrid is not always clearly documented, but it is grown for its calm “misty” tones and its very symmetrical rosette shape.
The plant forms a compact, low-growing rosette of thick, broad leaves. The leaves are pale green with a slightly bluish, powdery surface, and the margins often develop gentle pink shades that become more noticeable in brighter light. Even in a small pot, the rosette keeps a neat and regular form.
Flowers appear on taller stalks and have the typical bell-shaped form of the genus Echeveria. Flowering is not the main feature of this cultivar, but older plants may occasionally bloom as an added detail.
Echeveria Blue Mist grows best in a bright position with well-draining soil. Watering should be done only several days after the soil has completely dried out, helping the plant maintain firm growth and good colouring. If you are looking for an echeveria with a clean pastel rosette and softly pink-edged leaves, Blue Mist is an excellent choice for a collection.
