Crassula Stone Age Silver
Ideally, place in a sunny location.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
Limit watering during winter, as the plant can tolerate dry periods.
Crassula Stone Age Silver is a compact shrubby Crassula with a growth habit similar to some hybrids of the genus, mainly grown for their narrow and strongly structured leaves. It stands out especially for the texture of its foliage and its sturdy overall form.
The leaves are slender, triangular in cross-section, and in bright light they may develop a more silvery or slightly reddish tone. The plant forms a fleshy little shrub with firm stems and distinctive leaf structure, remaining relatively small and maintaining a compact shape.
Small star-shaped pale pink flowers may appear in summer, although the plant is mainly cultivated for its foliage rather than its blooms.
Crassula Stone Age Silver prefers a bright position and well-draining soil. Prolonged overwatering should be avoided, and it is best to water carefully at the base. Fertilising is usually not necessary. This cultivar is a fine choice for growers looking for a smaller Crassula with striking leaf form and a subtle silvery look.
