TIP for you:

During the season, this species produces beautiful, abundant clusters of small white flowers that beautifully illuminate the entire plant.

Crassula lactea is known by the common name Taylor’s Parches. In nature, it occurs in the Eastern Cape and Western Cape of South Africa, growing in subtropical thickets both in sun and in shade.

The plant has trailing to upright stems bearing medium-green leaves with a broad base clasping the stem and a gradually tapering tip. Younger leaves are marked along the margins of the upper surface with small, evenly spaced white dots. Crassula lactea can reach about 30 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width.

In winter, the plant produces clusters of white, star-shaped flowers. These appear on flower stalks up to around 10 cm long and remain on the plant for several weeks.

This is an easy-to-grow succulent, and its size can be effectively controlled by pruning. If you are looking for a reliable Crassula suitable for bowls or larger containers, Crassula lactea can be a practical choice.
