Ideally, place in a sunny location, but partial shade is also acceptable.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

TIP for you:

It is a very small plant that turns red in the sun.

Crassula deltoidea variegata is a variegated form of Crassula deltoidea, previously also known as Creusa deltoidea or Crassula rhomboidea. The original species comes from arid regions of the Northern and Western Cape in South Africa, where it grows on gravelly and stony plains. The variegated form originated in cultivation and is valued mainly for its subtle coloration and very small growth habit.

The leaves are small, triangular to wedge-shaped, and noticeably reduced in size compared to the typical form of the species. In the variegated form, the basic green color is combined with lighter creamy to yellowish areas, and in a bright position the plant develops reddish tones throughout the year. The leaves are densely arranged along short stems, creating a compact, low-growing, and very fine-textured habit.

Flowers of this species are small, light-colored, and arranged in low, branched inflorescences. When the plant flowers, this usually occurs from late spring to mid-summer.

The plant is easy to grow and undemanding. It prefers a bright position, a well-draining substrate, and careful watering with thorough drying between waterings. Due to its very small size, it is well suited to small pots and shallow containers, where its compact form and delicate variegation can be appreciated over time.
