The plant likes a sunny location.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can withstand temperatures down to -1.1 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.

Even in small specimens, the beginning of a caudex is visible, which gradually grows as the plant matures.

Anacampseros telephiastrum is a small succulent native to the Cape region, where it grows on rocky plains and slopes. It belongs to species adapted to dry environments and forms low, clump-forming growth.

The plant has fleshy, green to brownish-green leaves that are densely clustered. Fine hairs occur in the leaf axils and are usually shorter than the leaves themselves. With age, the plant can reach up to about 15 cm in height and develops a small caudex forming the base of the plant.

The flowers are pink and reach approximately 3.5 cm in diameter. They are borne on sturdy flower stalks, appear in summer, and typically open in the afternoon.

A well-draining substrate and a bright position are suitable for cultivation. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry between waterings. The plant can be propagated from seed and, due to its undemanding nature, is suitable even for less experienced growers.
