Aloe Spike
Ideally, place in full sun or partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
Aloe Spike captivates with its bumpy, upright leaves with delicate "spiny" edges, giving it a very elegant appearance.
Aloe Spike is a hybrid succulent grown as a houseplant, distinguished by the pronounced structure of its leaf rosette. It is a plant with a sharp, dynamic appearance, typical of some modern aloe hybrids.
The plant forms an open rosette of long, narrow, and firm leaves that grow at an outward angle. The leaves are green, lighter in places, with a distinctly rough surface and small raised bumps. The leaf margins are strongly toothed, with subtle reddish coloration on the tips and along the edges. It reaches a height of around 30 cm.
During flowering, a tall flower stalk emerges from the center of the rosette, bearing tubular flowers arranged along the stem.
For cultivation, a well-draining substrate and a bright position are suitable. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry well between waterings. Thanks to its easy care and striking appearance, Aloe Spike is suitable for growers looking for a hardy and distinctive succulent.
