Aloe Dragon Hybrid
Ideally, place in full sun or partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C for short periods. However, the plant is not frost-resistant.
This hybrid was created through targeted crossbreeding for its distinctive leaf shape and contrasting pattern, which can vary slightly from plant to plant.
Aloe Dragon Hybrid is a small hybrid succulent grown as a houseplant. It is valued for its compact size and distinctive leaf texture.
The plant forms a small, firm rosette of short, triangular leaves. The leaves are thick and fleshy, covered with pronounced raised tubercles, and coloured grey-green to reddish, with tones intensifying under stronger light. Leaf margins are finely toothed. Growth remains low and slow.
Flowers appear on a slender flower stalk and have the typical tubular shape characteristic of the genus Aloe.
A well-draining substrate and a bright position are recommended. Water sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings. This succulent is suitable for growers looking for a compact, visually distinctive aloe for a small collection.
