Aeoniums from this line often produce multiple rosettes at once, so older plants resemble small shrubs.

Aeonium Bronze Medal is an Aeonium cultivar with an unclear origin. Based on its compact rosettes, semi-spherical growth habit, and red-marked leaves, a relationship to Aeonium sedifolium is suggested, which is considered one of its possible parents. The plant is valued mainly for its changing coloration and well-balanced habit.

The leaves are green, slightly sticky, and marked with irregular wine-red spots. During the summer dormancy period, the rosettes take on dark bronze tones. Individual rosettes can reach a diameter of up to about 6.2 cm. The plant has a compact growth habit, gradually develops a tree-like form, and can reach a height of up to approximately 45 cm.

The flowers are star-shaped, light yellow, and appear in spring. They are borne in dense clusters on leafy stems and rise clearly above the rosettes.

Aeonium Bronze Medal requires a well-draining substrate and a bright position and tolerates full sun. Watering should be moderate and only after the substrate has dried. The plant can be placed outdoors during the warm season, which enhances leaf coloration, and thanks to its attractive tree-like form it is a highly ornamental aeonium that also works well as a solitary plant.
