Monadenium
The genus Monadenium includes succulent plants native to eastern Africa. It is characterized by fleshy stems, often with pronounced ribs or spines. These plants are adapted to dry climates and survive drought periods by storing water in their tissues. The flowers are small and usually appear near the stem tips. In cultivation, Monadenium prefers bright light, warmth, and a very well-drained substrate.
